Always ask for identification from anyone who comes to your door. Anyone representing themselves as being from our office will have proper identification. If you believe that the person at your door is not a representative of the Cedar Rapids City Assessor's Office, immediately end the conversation and call the Cedar Rapids Police Department non-emergency number at 319-286-5491.

Tax Estimator
The recently updated tax estimator calculates using the 2024 assessed value and the most recent levy rates and rollbacks. These calculations are to reflect a projected estimate of the 2025-2026 taxes. The computations are provided as a service and are a projection for estimation purposes only. Errors or omissions shall not be binding upon this office. Please contact the Linn County Treasurer for current year taxes or the Linn County Auditor about specific levy rates and rollbacks.
